Drop-in Service
There is no need to book an appointment. All callers will be seen via a 'drop in system'.
Other drop in services include 'V-involved' (volunteering) and support from our teenage pregnancy team.
If an appointment for Job Search, a CV or Guidance is needed, then these can be arranged.
Job Search
There are a range of vacancies displayed in the reception area and callers can also use a PC to access vacancies from a 'wider' area other than Tameside.
There are also interactive programmes available on PCs for callers to match their interests to suitable job opportunities.
Job Club
A four week programme preparing young people (16-19yrs) for full time employment and training. Covers:
- how to write a winning CV
- application forms
- the Winning Skills Programme - what skills employers are looking for
- how to be a success and interview techniques.
AQA accredited. Tuesday & Thursday 10-1pm. Breakfast provided!

Pregnancy and young parent drop-in
An informal chat about your pregnancy & being a parent.
Every Friday 2 - 4pm
- Meet other expectant Mums & Dads.
- Meet other young parents. Access information on local children centres.
- Information and advice around health services available.

- If eligible for Activity Agreement then gain £30 per week on top of your benefits.
