Want to find out more about careers and choices?

Choices about your education like:

  • Taking GCSEs subjects, a Diploma, a BTEC course, a 'Young Apprenticeship' or a Foundation Learning course in Year 10-11
  • What to do after Year 11
  • Going to university.

Choices about the work and training you could do like:

  • How to choose your career
  • How to look for work.

Remember the age at which you must remain in education or training is being raised to 17 in 2013 and 18 in 2015, so if you were born on or after 1st September 1996 this will affect you!  Remaining in education or training includes staying at school, going to college or going into a job or work based training where you can get a qualification like an NVQ.
